Context
Newly created business unit, implementation of a new complex organization with regional hubs (EMEA, America, Asia) and more than 50 markets
Urgent need for the CODIR to obtain a precise and consolidated vision of financial performance
Need for regional hubs to accelerate financial reporting so that the finance department can focus on financial analysis
Objectives
Design of a dashboard that is easy to update, shareable and usable by the CODIR and the different departments of the BU (Finance, Marketing, Sales)
Progressive implementation of the dashboard within the BU’s general management (consolidated data) and then within the various regional hubs (local accounting system). Multiple data source integration (e.g. sell-out)
Weekly iterations during workshops with end-users during the creation phase and training of the finance team to maintain the dashboard
Support to the IT team to develop a suitable source database
Deliverables achieved
Interactive and attractive dashboard replacing numerous Excel files
Monthly reporting time reduced to 2 hours (vs. several days)
Development of an application with a validation workflow for managing annual restatements. Finance transformation | Transformation of the finance function | Mid-cap and large group
